Meeting Summarizer is a privacy-first iOS app, operated by CurlyCorn LLC (“CurlyCorn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), that records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings entirely on your device. We operate no servers, host no databases, and run no backend that processes meeting content. Audio recording, transcription via Apple SpeechAnalyzer, and summarization via Apple Intelligence all happen locally on iOS 26 and later. We do not require an account, an email address, or any sign-up. We do not collect analytics, telemetry, or crash reports. We never see, transmit, or store your audio, transcripts, summaries, tags, or notes. The only network traffic the app produces is related to optional in-app purchases handled by Apple and validated through RevenueCat — an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase receipt, and your subscription state. That traffic carries no meeting content.

The short version

Meeting Summarizer runs 100% on your device. We do not have servers. We do not have accounts. Your audio, transcripts, and summaries never leave your phone. The only data that ever touches the network is your anonymous Apple purchase receipt, used by Apple and RevenueCat to process optional subscriptions and restore them across your devices — never your meeting content.

No Meeting Content Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your meeting content. No audio. No transcripts. No summaries. No notes, tags, or titles. No analytics. No telemetry. No crash reports. No usage tracking. No cookies. No fingerprinting. Your meeting content is yours — it stays on your device and we never see it. The only exception is subscription management (see “Subscriptions” below), which processes your anonymous Apple purchase receipt and contains no meeting content whatsoever.

No Servers

We literally do not have servers. There is no backend we operate, no database we run, no API we host. Every computation — audio processing, transcription, AI summarization — runs locally on your device using Apple SpeechAnalyzer and Apple Intelligence. For subscription management only, the app communicates with Apple's In-App Purchase system and RevenueCat's API — those are third-party services we don't operate, and they never receive your meeting content.

No Accounts

Meeting Summarizer requires no sign-up, no email address, no phone number, no social login, and no personal information of any kind. Download the app and use it. That is the entire onboarding process.

Local Storage Only

All meeting data — audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, and preferences — is stored locally on your device within the app's sandboxed storage. Data is stored as JSON files in the app documents directory, protected by iOS Data Protection (the same file-level encryption iOS applies to the rest of your device when a passcode is set).

Audio Handling

Audio files are recorded and stored locally on your device. They never leave your phone. You can enable automatic deletion, which securely overwrites audio files with random data before removing them — making recovery difficult even with forensic tools.

AI Processing

All AI processing runs entirely on your device. Transcription uses Apple SpeechAnalyzer (iOS 26+). Summarization uses Apple Intelligence (iOS 26+). No downloads, no model files, no third-party ML frameworks. No audio, text, or any meeting content is sent to any cloud AI service. There are zero cloud AI API calls.

Network Activity

Meeting Summarizer performs no network activity for your meeting content. There are no model downloads, no cloud AI calls, and no uploads of audio, transcripts, or summaries. The only network requests the app ever makes are to Apple's In-App Purchase servers and RevenueCat, and only for the purpose of processing subscriptions and restoring purchases. Those requests carry no meeting data.

Subscriptions (RevenueCat)

Meeting Summarizer is free to download. Some features require a paid weekly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock, purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. To validate purchases and restore them across your devices, we use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription infrastructure provider.

When you start, restore, or check a purchase, RevenueCat receives, on our behalf:

  • An anonymous app user identifier (a random UUID generated on your device, not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID)
  • Your device type and operating system version
  • Your Apple App Store receipt and transaction IDs
  • Your current subscription or entitlement state
  • Your IP address, used only to infer country, then discarded — not persisted
  • Your inferred country of residence

RevenueCat never receives your name, email, Apple ID, recordings, transcripts, summaries, meeting titles, tags, personal notes, or any other meeting content.

RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf. Receipt data is stored on Amazon Web Services in the United States. RevenueCat does not share this data with advertising networks and does not track you across apps or websites. For full details, see RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Apple In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple is the merchant of record, handles your payment, and holds your payment method — we never see or store your card details or billing information. In connection with an in-app purchase, Apple receives the information you already share with Apple (your Apple Account, device, country, and transaction history). For details on how Apple handles this data, see Apple's App Store privacy disclosure.

Third-Party Services

The Meeting Summarizer app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, crash reporting, or tracking services. The only third-party service the app uses is RevenueCat, and only for processing your Apple In-App Purchase receipts as described in “Subscriptions” above. There are no other SDKs that collect or transmit data of any kind.

Website Analytics

This website (meetingsummarizer.com) uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. Plausible is self-hosted on our own infrastructure — no data is sent to Plausible's servers or any third party. Plausible collects no personal data, sets no cookies, performs no fingerprinting, and cannot identify individual visitors. We use it solely to measure aggregate page traffic on this website. This is entirely separate from the app, which collects no analytics of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new date and terms. Given our architecture — no meeting content collection, no accounts, no trackers — material changes are unlikely.
